Split Rock Falls

The upper section of Split Rock Falls

Remains of an old bridge

A killer swimming hole

Split Rock Falls

A look from above

I read about these falls in Russell Dunn's Adirondack Waterfall Guide.  Leaving Keene Valley, these falls are right near the Northway right on Route 9.

A little scrambling takes you from the road to the bottom of the falls.  I'd love to live near here.  At the bottom of Split Rock Falls is a massive swimming hole.  The falls themselves are a great sight.  It's pretty cool to have such a wonderful spot, so easily accessible.

Here's some video and also here.
