This would be a nice walk to enjoy falling leaves and falling water.  With all the rains we've received recently, this would be the first time I would view the creek roaring.  This made the going a bit tougher as I normally walk straight up inside the creek.

I did this walk with my friend Pat.  Although there would be an ever present threat of rain, it was a great day to be out.  A nice crisp breeze and some early fall colors.  A perfect day to be out.

Upon reaching the first waterfall, it was clear the Plattekill was roaring far more stronger than I've ever seen it.  This past summer because of the drought, it was easy to bounce back and forth across the creek.  Unless if you were willing to get soaked, there would be no crossing the Plattekill today.

  1. Yes, it was great. A walk that will have to be repeated and completed. As usual, great photos!
