Tired of wasting my time looking for a job, I decided to head out on this gorgeous day to Overlook.  Easily one of my favorite mountains, Overlook has great views of the Hudson Valley and Catskills.  Though the straight forward walk covers 1,300 feet in 2.5 miles, it's one of the most accessible perches in the Catskills.  When times are tough, a walk here will always make things better.

  1. You must have enjoyed the walk up there more than the hot, sweaty climb we did in July. Looks much different without all the leaves. Were there views on the way up?

  2. Keep your head up. I agree. When life throws you a curve ball it's always good to get out, enjoy nature and clear your mind!
