Since arriving, I hadn't walked around Chicago at night. At least not downtown or in Millenium Park. It was quite amazing that even at night the bean attracts many, many people. Also, I am quite impressed with the amount of foreign tourists Chicago attracts.

I find that cities are more attractive and vibrant at night. The work day is done, the lights come on, and people let down their sacks. Moths turn into butterflies and the virile juices flow. You can smell it. You can feel it. You can hear it. At night, people want it all, and some get it.
