Nashville

Tennessee's Capitol building

My Dad and I stayed in Nashville for almost a week.  The weather did cooperate very well as it rained for much of the time.  But spring had arrived, unlike in New York.  We'll take that.

Nashville is a semi-interesting place.  If I were a country music fan, I would find it to be immensely more interesting.  Still, Nashville has an old section that's fun to walk around and it has a few interesting buildings.  My Dad and I went to one show just south of Nashville.  Nashville itself seems to have many places to check out live music.
I saw this all over the place.  It must have pissed NRA members big time

  1. The downtown looks small. Does anyone actually live downtown?

Kind of funny that they had a "Welcome N.R.A." sign and a "No Weapons" sign up.

  2. The downtown is relatively small but larger than I thought. It appears that mostly the poor live in the city. Nashville like most U.S. cities is a suburb city.
