April Fool's Day

The sun peeking through the fog

This time last year there was some green

The early morning fog clearing out

Last year there were already leaves on the trees

The landscape is still very brown

So you thought it was spring?  April Fool's!

March is said to come in like a lion and out like a lamb.  This more often than not seems to apply better to April.  This year is no exception (at least it's coming in like a lion, hopefully it goes out like a lamb).  Last week's mild weather has been met with today's bitter early morning start.  The wind really had some bite.

  1. Great pictures. Your camera really does a great job for a point and shoot.
Last night was surprising chilly. No heat in MC's apartment, so it was like another night of being poor. I definitely don't like the climate in New York anymore. Nearly every single NY winter I'd fallen ill.

  2. Well, we asked for a cold winter and we got it. Now we're getting a cold spring too. It's crazy. I'm no scientist but I read an article saying the reason for the cool spring is that there is little sea ice in the Arctic. Who the hell knows?!
