I regretted not camping here for the night.  An excellent location on the beach, despite the hordes of RVs.  But I nevertheless enjoyed the sunset views and the pleasant breeze to be found here.  Apparently, the sandstone is able to withstand water better than I thought.  I would've thought Lone Rock would have collapsed from below.  Instead it has withstood the waters of Lake Powell for almost 50 years.
